Research Interests:
1. Embryonic stem cell (ES) and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPS).
2. Epigenetics (Histone modifications, DNA methylation and non-coding RNA)
Research Description:
My focuses are: 1) molecular determinants and epigenetic markers for developmental potential of ES and iPS; 2) somatic cell reprogramming mechanisms; 3) directed stem cell differentiation (mainly differentiation to neuron). We aim to establish molecular markers that help evaluate ES/iPS differentiation capacity in specific clinic trial.
