Research Description:
1.In view of the special properties of layered double hydroxides and solid lipid nanoparticles and some other nanoparticles, for a variety of types of preparation of nano materials, controlled release and targeting properties of nanoparticles on the discussion, attempts are made in the treatment of tumor. Some new forms of potential nano materials and the drugs are obtained, at the same time, the nano materials used as adjuvant and DNA vaccine vector are studied.
2.We investigated the cellular effects of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) on mESCs. LDHs were proved to have the capability to promote the growth of ESCs and inhibit apoptosis elicited by leukaemia inhibitory factor (LIF) withdrawal. Moreover, the cells maintained the potential to differentiate into all three germ layers both in vitro and in vivo.
3.According to the mechanism of HIV-1 membrane fusion, we respectively design a series of peptides as inhibitors of HIV-1 membrane fusion from four aspects. That is to inhibit the gp160 cleavage by using the inhibitor of precursor processing enzyme; to use the analogue of CD4 peptide to inhibit the combine between gp120 and CD4; to use C-terminal polypeptide similar of gp41 to inhibit the conformational change of gp41 molecule. Research on combinatorial peptide activity center is formed by the combination of the above three kinds of polypeptide, and the exploration has achieved initial results. At the same time we study the generation of myocardial local endogenous H2S and the transmission mechanism of regulation.
4.By using nanosecond transient laser flash photolysis apparatus developed by our own group and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Applied Physics, the interaction mechanisms of the relationship between transient behavior and the functions of important biological molecules and with other small molecule were explored.
