Speaker: DING Junjun, Ph.D. Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Developmental and Regenerative Biology, Black Family Stem Cell Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York City, New York, USA.
Host: Prof. GAO Shaorong
Time: 10:00AM-11:30AM, 29th June, 2015
Venue: Room 1102, Medical Building
Research focus:
His primary research goals are directed towards understanding the basis of epigenetic regulation of stem cell pluripotency and somatic cell reprogramming. We primarily employ optimized proteomic approach to identify and study pluripotency protein-protein interaction network that govern stem cell pluripotency and somatic cell reprogramming. Insights from these studies will facilitate efficient derivation/generation and optimal propagation of embryonic/induced pluripotent stem cells (ESCs/iPSCs) for their safe application in disease therapeutics and regenerative medicine.
