On July 24th, 2023, the Ministry of Education announced the list of projects for the 2022 National Teaching Achievement Award. The project Exploration and Practice of Future Leading Talents Training System of Stem Cell Basic and Translational Research for Healthy China Strategy systematically summarizes our specific initiatives and achievements in cultivating future leading talents in the field of stem cell basic research and translational research, targeting the national strategic demands and industrial development. Through over a decade of exploration and practice, we have successfully cultivated a large number of national young backbone talents in this field and developed a replicable and highly valuable talent cultivation model. The Second Prize of the National Higher Education (Graduate) Teaching Achievement Award showcases the significant achievements we have made in actively exploring the laws of education and teaching, as well as our dedication to educational and teaching reforms, continuous enhancement of connotation construction, and constant improvement of talent cultivation quality.
