         陈嘉瑜博士的主要研究方向是进行细胞命运转变过程中的表观遗传调控机制研究,以及基于iPS和CRISPR系统的人类单基因遗传病模型构建及致病机制研究。首次证明了DNA羟甲基化酶Tet1可通过其羟甲基化活性,加速多能基因调控区域的去甲基化进程,激活多能性基因的表达,从而促进细胞多能性的建立,提高诱导型重编程的速率和效率,证实Tet1可取代部分Yamanaka转录因子建立高质量的iPS细胞系,并高效地产生足月的、健康的、完全由iPS细胞发育而来的all-iPSC小鼠。该项成果在Cell Stem Cell杂志以封面研究发表,并被评为年度最佳论文之一。陈嘉瑜在职期间,主持国家自然科学基金“青年项目”一项;以主要骨干身份参与科技部“国家重点研发计划干细胞及转化研究重点专项”及“国家重大科学研究计划(973)”各一项;被评为同济大学青年优秀人才。
