个人简介:

       翁志萍博士于1987年考入中国科技大学就读,1993年赴美国波士顿大学深造,1997获得生物医学工程博士学位,2003年获得波士顿大学终身教职,2007年末至今马萨诸塞州大学医学院教授,担任生物信息系主任。翁志萍博士于2012年被评为国家千人计划重点学科讲座教授。

        翁志萍博士曾帮助DeLisi教授建立生物信息研究项目(波士顿大学Charles DeLisi教授是世界范围内基因组学与生物信息学的学科带头人,曾被美国前总统克林顿授予著名的公民奖章), 这是全世界最早的授予生物信息学博士学位的项目之一。翁博士在很多领域,包括结构生物信息学,基因组学,表观基因组学及小RNA,做出了非常卓越的科研工作,已经发表了100多篇论文,获得了30多个科研奖励,已主持超过1200万美元的科研经费。在她美国实验室,有20多名研究生已毕业,大部分进入了生物技术工业领域。
